Just as the title says.

For me it was:

The Da Vinci Code,
Clerks 2,
The Descent,
The Prestige

Kind of a crappy year for movies but hopefully 2007 will be better.

I agree with the Da Vinci Code and would include:
Little Miss Sunshine
The Devil Wears Prada
School for Scoundrels
You are correct - 2006 was not a great movie year, hopefully it will get better in 2007.

I would add "The Queen." If you haven't seen it, it is an amazing job of acting by Helen Merrium (sp?)
